CENTRAL LIBRARY
The aim of the library is to provide the right environment and appropriate facilities and services to support high quality teaching and learning. The library provides a useful collection of learning materials, access to computerized information sources and audio/video learning facilities.
It is open round the clock and provides the following services on demand:
- Document delivery service
- Inter Library Loan (ILL)
- Reference Service & Assistance
- Photocopy Service
- Multimedia Resource
- On-line Databases
- Current contents
- User Education
- Organization of Book Exhibition & Technical demonstration
Rules And Regulation For Library
(i) The Library will remain open from 9:00 am to 4:45 pm on all working days.
(ii) Students identity card will be used as Library card.
(iii) Students are expected to use the books with care. Markings in books, tearing of pages are prohibited. A fine of double the cost of the book will be charged if any damage to the books is noticed.
(iv) LOSS OF BOOKS: Loss of books shall be reported to the librarian immediately. If the borrowers are unable to replace the book, the cost of the book will be recovered.
(v) Duration of loan and overdue charges: Students can retain a book for a week only. If the due falls on a holiday he/she should return it on the next working day. Overdue charges is Rs.5 per day.
(v) A book may be re-issued for another week to a student at his/her request, provided it is produced before the librarian and if there is no demand for it at the time of re-issue.
(vi) The librarian can recall the book at any time without giving any reason.
(vii) Students are not allowed to lend the books taken from the library to other students
(viii) Strict silence must be observed at all times in the library
(ix) No magazine or newspaper should be taken out of the library
(x) Internet facilities can be utilized by all students
